From Texas->Japan->Tanzania
50 Years Of Life

As someone who has worked across Texas, Japan, and Tanzania, I’ve seen both inspiring leadership and difficult challenges. This site shares my reflections on why ethical and transparent leadership is vital — not just in Tanzania, but everywhere. These are my personal experiences and lessons for future entrepreneurs.

Building exterior in Toronto, Canada

This is my story.

My memory is getting worse, but over the years, I’ve seen both the inspiring and the troubling sides of international business. Some experiences taught me how cultural and financial pressures can shape decisions in ways I never expected.

Dan’s Digital Diary

This website is a personal diary of reflections and opinions based on my own experiences living and doing business across borders. Everything written here represents my perspective only and should not be taken as fact about any individual or company.

If anyone feels offended by these reflections, I encourage them to reflect on why. A confident and ethical leader has nothing to fear from honest questions and personal storytelling. And if you consider yourself a Shakespeare — go ahead and write something better.

SSSS Debuts Strong! But I Ain’t No Saint…

  • In some places, building businesses feels like building families — sometimes one, two, or even three at a time.
  • Nick Cannon jokes aside, navigating family and business expectations across cultures is no small task. Let’s learn to manage together.

How much do we need? Don’t worry, I’ll get it!
